During the potential inclement weather months (roughly early November to early April), our transportation partner, Tri-Board Student Transportation Services (Tri-Board), works closely with their school bus companies to determine if it is safe to offer school transportation on inclement weather days.

Dear Lancaster Families, We have an exciting week ahead! Our annual Race Around the Park will take place Wednesday, October 8th after school. Just a reminder that Picture Day is on Thursday, October 9th. Our senior soccer teams wrapped up their season this week with their annual tournaments.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day are held annually on September 30. This day invites us to engage intentionally in learning about the Residential School System, and the true history of relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada.

Dear Lancaster Families, It was a pleasure to welcome everyone to our school during last week’s Open House. Thank you to Mrs. McDougall, Mrs. Tidman, Mrs. Dowdell, and Ms. Jarbeau for organizing the Terry Fox Walk, Run, and Roll on Friday — it was a wonderful event!

The City of Kingston, in partnership with community agencies and local school boards, including Limestone DSB, are conducting an optional survey to better understand how students travel to and from school in Kingston.
